The Three Lions will be missing the Tottenham midfielder, who has sustained a hamstring injury, for the two marquee friendlies at Wembley

Dele Alli has been ruled out of the England squad after sustaining a hamstring injury.

The midfielder, who scored twice in midweek as Tottenham beat Real Madrid 3-1 at Wembley, was ruled out of his club's clash with Crystal Palace early on Sunday, and it has been confirmed that he will miss upcoming international friendlies against Germany and Brazil.

It has not yet been announced if a replacement will be called up by Gareth Southgate, who has named a youthful squad for the two marquee games this month.

The likes of Joe Gomez, Jesse Lingard, Harry Winks, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham have been called up by Southgate, as he looks to formalise his plans ahead of the World Cup in Russia next summer.

England qualified for the tournament by finishing top of their World Cup qualifying group, going through the pool unbeaten.

The Three Lions face Germany on November 10, before taking on Brazil four days later.
