Chelsea 'want £60million Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero' as hunt for new striker continues

Sergio Aguero has emerged as Chelsea's No 1 striker option to replace want away Diego Costa.

Aguero has faced an uncertain future at Manchester Cityunder Pep Guardiolaand the champions hope to capitalise on the situation, according to The Mirror.

The Blues are searching desperately for additional power with the new Premier League season just three weeks away. Costa empahsised his desire to rejoin Atletico Madrid by filiming himself wearing an Atleti shirt and telling team-mate Cesc Fabregasto 'give Conte a hug'.

Romelu Lukaku opted to join Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Alavaro Morata is also wanted by Juventus. The sticking point for the move will be City's lack of willingness to sell the Argentina international to a title rival.

However Gabriel Jesus quickly found himself as Pep's No 1 choice last season and Aguero isn't willing to sit on the bench with the World Cup looming large.
