BARCELONA could try to sign Chelsea star Eden Hazard if Neymar signs for Paris Saint-Germain, according to Radio Marca journalist Carles Escolan.

Barcelona star Neymar is wanted by PSG in a transfer deal would shatter all previous records.

The Ligue 1 giants are keen to sign the Brazil international and are willing to pay a huge £196million to get the deal done.

Barcelona have publicly done their best to insist their star performer will be staying at the Nou Camp - but Express Sport understandsa stunning transfer is not too far off.

Should they lose Neymar, the La Liga giants are likely to want a marquee name to fill the void left by his exit.

Reports have said they could rival Real Madrid for Monaco hitman Kylian Mbappe, who could cost a £161m.

But Radio Marca journalist Escolan says Barcelona will be interested in signing Hazard if Neymar jumps ship.

"If Neymar finally abandons the FCB [Barcelona], Robert Fernandez would be interested to go for Eden Hazard," he said on Twitter.

Hazard, who has been regularly linked with a move to Real Madrid himself, flourished under Antonio Conte as Chelsea won the Premier League title last season.

The Belgium international had endured a frustrating year under Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink the previous campaign. But he was back to his best under Conte's tutelage, scoring 17 goals from 43 appearances.
